Israel Castillo has been the Director of Tennis at Barton Creek since January of 1998. He is a member of the Club Corp National Tennis Council, Wilson Advisory Staff, and Nike Advisory Staff and has been a USPTA certified pro since 1990

Head Tennis Professional Ryan Simme, Spring, Texas
Ryan has had a stellar playing and teaching career. He was one of the nations top ranked juniors and then went on to a very successful collegiate record as a member of the tennis team at Notre Dame. After graduating from Notre Dame, Ryan began his teaching career right here at Barton Creek and then went on to be the Head Pro at Austin Country Club, the Director of Tennis at Riverplace Country Club and most recently the Head Pro at the Austin Tennis Academy.

Director of Men’s Programs Tres Davis, Lubbock, Texas
Tres Davis joined the Barton Creek professional tennis staff in April of 2008. He brings a tremendous amount of playing experience having reached a ranking of #3 in the world as a junior. Tres played college tennis at Texas A & M for a year before turning pro. While on the pro tour he won 7 singles titles and 22 doubles titles.

Tennis Academy Coach Jonas Lundblad, Forslov, Sweden
A native of Sweden, Jonas came to the U.S. and played four years of collegiate tennis. He served as the Director of Tennis at Berry Creek Country Club for 10 years and worked at the Austin Tennis Academy for 2 years. He is a USPTA Professional 1 Certified Coach and a USTA High Performance Certified Coach. Jonas held a world ranking in doubles in 1998, was a two-time National Champion and All American in college. He has won 16 gold, silver and bronze medals in the US Nationals 30's in singles and doubles from 2002-2006 and was the National Doubles Champion in 2006.

Tennis Academy Coach Vince Segovia, El Paso, Texas
Vince Segovia has more than 20 years of teaching experience, including 15 years as a USPTA Professional 1 Certified Coach. He served as Director of Tennis at the El Paso Tennis Club and worked as an Academy Coach for the Austin Tennis Academy for 3 ½ years and at St. Stephens Tennis Academy for 5 years.  Vince has coached five players ranked in the top 50 nationally and more than 10 players who have been awarded Division I tennis scholarships.  Several of his current players are ranked in the top 20 at the Super Champ level; two of them winning Texas sectional titles in 2005.

Junior Development Coach Kevin Clark, Grand Prairie, Texas
USPTA certified since 1987, Coach Kevin has enjoyed working with juniors helping them develop into the best person, player and champion he or she can be.
Recognized by the USTA as the Developmental Coach of the Year in 2004-2005.

Touring Pro Christo Van Rensburg, Uitenhage, South Africa
Christo is a former #1 doubles player in the world, winning the Australian open as well as many others. Has singles wins over Pete Samras, Ivan Lendl, Boris Becker and John McEnroe and countless others.
