Monte Williams, Lubbock, Texas

Monte has been a USPTA certified tennis pro since 1994. He grew up in Lubbock where he served as assistant tennis pro before moving to Arlington, VA in 1998 where he took a position as Head Professional/Director of Junior Development at Army-Navy Country Club. He then moved to Greensboro, NC to become Director of Tennis at Starmount Forest Country Club. Monte has been at Barton Creek since July of 2009 and brings energy and enthusiasm to the program.

Vince Segovia, El Paso, Texas

Vince Segovia is a USPTA Pro 1 and has over 20 years of teaching experience.  He served as tennis director at The El Paso Tennis Club before moving to Austin.  He worked at St. Stephens for 5 years and the Austin Tennis Academy for 3 years.  Vince has been the Director of The Barton Creek Tennis Academy the past 4 years working with tournament level juniors including 5A high school state champion Russell Bader in addition to being Head Tennis Professional.

Jo Atherton

Jo Atherton brings over 16 years of hands-on experience in teaching tennis to our program. Jo has been at Barton Creek since 2001. Her previous experience includes being Academy Head Professional at the John Newcombe/Prince Tennis Academy, and Head Coach for men’s and women’s tennis at North Carolina Wesleyan College.
