Fitness Center

Available to all resort guests 16 and older, the fitness center at Barton Creek is an 11,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility with something for everyone, including group exercise classes, personal training, free weights, assisted weight machines, punching bags, outdoor running and stretching areas.

  • New Precor cardio machines with individual TV's 
  • Kaiser M3 spin bikes
  • TRX Suspension Performance Center
  • 6,500 lbs. of rubber free-style weights and plate loaded equipment

The fitness center is available for use with our compliments. Classes and personal training sessions are provided at a nominal fee. In addition, we ask that you please wear appropriate fitness apparel when using the facility. Please present your resort ID at the Fitness Desk.

Monday through Friday 5:00 am - 9:30 pm
Saturday and Sunday 6:00 am - 9:00 pm

Attend a motivating and challenging group exercise class taught by one of our certified instructors. Yoga, spin, Pilates, dance, Zumba and aquatic classes are available. Living Well

One to One Wellness Consultations
Eager to progress in your health and fitness regime but not sure where to start? Are you confused by all the fitness and nutrition fads, trends and diet du jour? Just like well tailored clothing, there is no ‘one size fits all’ when it comes to your health and wellness program. These sessions will help you find your unique path to ultimate health and vitality. We’ll explore aspects of your lifestyle that you may not consider but are holding you back from having the body and life you want.

Private Meditation Session (1/2 hour)
Meditation has been touted as one of the premier ways to decrease stress, increase productivity and thrive in life. However, many people are still unsure how to start. This one on one session is a great primer to introduce you to what meditation is (and isn't), how it works and how to begin a home practice.

Nutrition Plan
Embarking on a new health and fitness regime without a road map is like driving cross country without your GPS! If you're looking to clean up your eating habits, lose weight and feel more vibrant and alive, you need a plan and support. Learn how small changes over time will lead to weight loss now - and a revamped, healthier, and more energetic lifestyle for years to come.  

Personal Training
This session is developed by an experienced trainer to help you achieve optimal balance, full-body strength, power and flexibility. We include a fitness evaluation, goal setting and a home program. 30 or 50 minutes

TRX Suspension Training
TRX Suspension Training harnesses your own bodyweight to create resistance as you workout and allows you to adjust the degree of difficulty, regardless of your fitness level, age or fitness goals.  TRX - Join the movement. 30 or 50 minutes

Mat Pilates
This dynamic workout will leave you looking and feeling toned, revitalized and refreshed. This gentle work is a series of movements that will improve postural alignment, core strength, breathing and flexibility. 60-minute private sessions (duets and trios are also available)

One-on-One Yoga
This private session focuses on relaxation, flexibility, strength, breathing, restoration and inversions from beginning to advanced positions. 50 minutes

Therapeutic Stretch
A partner-assisted stretch, this active isolated stretching helps to release chronic aches and pains resulting in a better range of motion, freedom from tension and overall feeling of well-being. 50 minutes

Prenatal Yoga
This gentle yoga class helps to address the areas of a woman’s body that are tight during pregnancy. It also teaches breathing techniques that can be useful when in labor. 50 minutes

Aqua Personal Training
This program of individually designed activities works to enhance, restore and maintain functional abilities. Water supports the body, reduces joint stress and provides resistance and assistance to movement. Aqua therapy is particularly beneficial to persons with orthopedic conditions, back problems, repetitive stress disorders, arthritis, obesity issues and pregnancy. 50 minutes

Pools
Relax in style at our outdoor resort pool overlooking the breathtaking Hill Country. The resort pool features an indigenous natural rock setting near the kiddie pool and secluded hot tub. During the warm Texas summer, let our poolside wait staff at our luxury resort bring you a frosty signature peach margarita or kid-friendly snacks perfect for wet pool fingers. This luxury Texas hotel also offers an indoor pool that is heated and open for swimming year round.

Running and Jogging
Even though Austin has 300-plus days of sunshine a year, our 1/13-mile running track offers an indoor alternative. Its Mondo surface is gently curved to facilitate comfort. Lap counters are available at the Fitness Center reception desk of our Texas resort. However, if you prefer challenging nature to its treadmill outdoors, we offer a 2, 2.5 or 4.2 mile route to choose from as highlighted on the running map below.

Golf Fitness Training
Our knowledgeable Personal Training staff will design a program that is tailored specifically for golf performance enhancement. Our Personal Fitness Trainers are Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Fitness Instructors, have worked with PGA pros and can apply the same fitness model to help you perform like a pro! 30 or 50 minutes
